Do you want to give back to the community and get some great new outfits as you do it? I knew you would. The Bloggers Give Back-Shop Our Closet event is this weekend, November 9, 2013. Over 200+ bloggers are working together to raise money for two young boys with cancer. To help raise money for the boy's families the group will be selling their own personal clothing along with donations from a variety of sponsors such as Groopdealz, The Printed Palette, Recycled Consign and Design, Our World Boutique, Fifth and Mae and Wild Butterfly Boutique. All proceeds will go towards these families and helping them pay for medical expenses and providing their family with Christmas this holiday season.
Beyond 5 album release concert is happening this weekend at the Utah Valley Convention Center tomorrow, November 9, 2013. This 5-member group focuses on sharing a positive message through pop music. They just returned from playing 27 shows in eight different countries across Asia. The members of the band include: TJ Ryan, of Salt Lake City; Zac Love, of San Antonio, TX; Ammon Tuimaualuga, of Corona, CA; Tanner Myler of Eagle, ID; and Patch Crowe, of Gold Coast, Australia. The opening act is Maddie Wilson. The show starts at 7:00 pm. You can get tickets on line here or at the door.
The Wounded Warriors Hero Run is this Saturday, November 9, 2013. This year the proceeds from the race will be donated to two great charities; The Wounded Warrior Project and Going Beyond Borders. Packet pick-up is today from 10 am- 7 pm at Protection 1 building in Orem, you can also pick up your packet the morning of the race. Click here for more information.
