Restaurant Spotlight: Lucy's New York Style Pizzeria

Orem has a new Pizza place and it's amazing. Now you can get New York pizza without the flight. Just head over to 59 South State St in Orem and you're set. The have whole pizzas, slices, subs, calzones, and salads. I was able to try a few different types of pizza on my visit and really loved all of them. You should try all of them, but the must have on your first trip is the CCB. It's a creamy ranch sauce topped with sliced chicken breast and real bacon pieces. The CCB is savory and creamy. They cook the bacon to a perfect crisp and the chicken is well seasoned. If you are more into the classics, the plain cheese pizza is also fantastic! Everything is made from scratch at Lucy's. They dough is made in house as is the sauces. They even cut their own veggies. You can dine in, take out, or have it delivered.
The start of Lucy's New York Style Pizzeria is a great story. They opened in 2009 in Roberts, Idaho. It was opened as a way to help the community by three men working construction at the time. They found a friend
with great recipes the help them start up. They even named the restaurant after his English Bulldog Lucy. The restaurant grew and by the end of that year they had opened another in Idaho Falls. A third was opened in 2012 in Ammon, Idaho. The Orem location just opened and is ready to serve up some amazing pizza.
