Free Weekend in Utah Valley

We love summer here in Utah Valley, we are also big fans of travel. It can get expensive with everything that goes into it. To help here is a guide to a free Summer Weekend trip to Utah Valley. Enjoy!

Farmer's Markets
All Summer long and into the Fall you can enjoy farmer's markets all over the Valley. A great place to start is Provo's at Pioneer Park. Along with the farmer's fruits and veggies they have arts, crafts, live music, prepared food stands, and more. My personal favorite thing is Jalapeno Jelly and Honey Sticks. After your done shopping take the kids over to the Splash Pad located in the same park.
Concert Series
All Summer long enjoy music in the open air. There are many free concert series all over the Valley. From the Rooftop Concert in Provo to the Sunday Concert Series at the Springville Museum of Art. For a complete list click Here.
Festivals
There is nothing better then a city festival, and Utah Valley has it fair share of them. Two favorites of ours is the American Freedom Festival over the 4th of July and Spanish Fork Fiesta Days. Get a spot for the parade early and grab some funnel cake as you walk through the carnival. Check out all the great festivals this summer Here
Outdoor adventures
Take lunch up the canyon for a picnic or grab a tube and float down the Provo River. Hike one of the many trails or take a drive on one of three scenic byways. There is something for everyone in our mountains and lakes.
